The Bedford Workforce Housing Subcommittee is holding a public forum to discuss a new State law that requires every community to provide for reasonable and realistic opportunities for the development of workforce housing including rental multi-family housing.

The public is invited to attend this forum to help craft Bedford’s response to this new requirement.

Road Construction

North Amherst Road between Hardy Road and Blanford Place is scheduled to be re-opened Friday afternoon October 24th. North Amherst Road between Blanford Place and Joppa Hill Road will then be closed to thru traffic until Wednesday November 26th for reconstruction. This schedule is weather dependent. Barricades will be placed on North Amherst Road just west of Blanford Place and another on Greeley Hill Road just south of the MacAfee Practice Fields.
