7:05 PM - PUBLIC COMMENTS

The Town Council welcomes citizen comments on issues not on the agenda for up to 5 minutes per person.  Individuals desiring items on the Council agenda for discussion must contact the Town Manager's Office 472-5242 by 4:30 PM on the Thursday prior to the meeting.  The Council normally meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month.  Anyone with a cell phone is asked to turn it off or put on silent.   Anyone who has a cell phone that goes off during the meeting will be asked to leave.  The Council will not hear any new items after 10 PM.    The Council has the ability to waive their own rules.

7:15 PM – PUBLIC HEARING

                        To prohibit parking on the north side of County Road from the                                           east most entrance of McKelvie School to the east most

                        intersection of Wright Acres Road

                        To continuing to prohibit left hand turns from Hardy Road onto

                        Route 101 as a short-term safety measure until improvements

                        to Route 101 are  made in the future

                        Consideration of the issuance of bonds for the reconstruction

                        of town roads in the approximate amount of $8 million dollars

                        Proposed 2003 Town Operating Budget
