Contractor code update:
With the process for the state moving towards the implementation of the 2009 codes set for April 1, 2010, the department is working on the program for a contractor meeting on the 2009 codes similar to the program held in late summer of 2007 when the state changed to the current codes. This meeting date has been set for March 3, 2010. The program will spend some time updating everyone about the new web site and a brief overview of the new permiting software that is tentativly scheduled to be brought up on September 1, 2010.
