The Bedford Fire Department is primarily a full-time department, in which we hire personnel as needed. But without our Call Force we would not be as efficient as we are today. We are always looking for dedicated individuals to apply for the Call force within the department.~ All applications can be obtained from the Town Offices located on North Amherst Road in Bedford.
Things you would need to do to become a Call -Firefighter
- Submit an application with a resume'.
- 2. Pass a physical agility test through the State of New Hampshire.
- 3. Complete an interview.
- 4. Be given a hire date.
