The Operations Support Division is under the direction of Lt. Kevin Bowen. Lt. Bowen graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Justice Studies from Southern New Hampshire University. He began his career in Law Enforcement in 1997 working at the Hillsborough County Department of Corrections. In 1999 he began working as a police officer for the Town of Hampton, NH briefly before transferring to Candia Police Department in 2000. In 2011 Lt. Bowen joined the Bedford Police Department where he was promoted to Sergeant in 2015 and then to Watch Commander/LT in March of 2020.
  In December of 2020 he was reassigned to the Operations Support Division, where he became the Lieutenant responsible for the following divisions:  Communications, Records, Department Training, Community Policing, Recruitment, Fleet Operations, Special Events Coordinator, and Police Detail Assignments.
