New Hampshire state laws define Domestic Violence, or abuse, as the “commission or attempted commission of one or more of the following acts by a family or household member or current or former sexual or intimate partner and where such conduct constitutes a credible threat to the plaintiff’s safety:
a. Assault or reckless conduct
b. Criminal threatening
c. Sexual assault
d. Interference with freedom (Includes stalking)
e. Destruction of property
f. Unauthorized entry
g. Harassment
