Special Events

The Operations Support Division is charged with coordinating all of the special community events that the Bedford Police Department takes part in.  These gatherings would include:  Coffee with a Cop, Meet the Chief, Bingo and Spaghetti Supper at Ridgewood, public school story time, Touch-A-Truck events, National Night Out, BPD Open House, and our very popular annual Bike Rodeo.  These are a sample of events we have done to improve the quality of life in Bedford and engage the Department with our citizens in a positive way. It is beneficial for our Department members to engage with the citizens in non-law enforcement experiences.  We believe it also benefits the community to be able to put a face to the department and know that the men and women who work here truly care about the citizens of Bedford and work hard to make them safe each day.

Pictures of some of these events are shown below.  We invite you to "like" us on Facebook and subscribe to our "Latest News" feature on this website so you can stay informed of our upcoming special events!  BPD Cares...
